Live Longer Why Dancing Is the Best Way to Stay Fit

Live Longer I recently came across a snippet of a Stones video from their latest global tour. Mick Jagger was bouncing around the stage like he was eighteen!

It was a little gloomy. Why am I still unable to do that?

I was a demon dancer once. Well, like teens do, I believed I was at the moment.

I no longer feel like I am a monster dancer. I should definitely acquire more exercise.

Do you have that feeling? That you should work out, but you lack the motivation to do so? We all understand how vital it is, yet somehow it is all too much trouble?

I am constantly trying to find a fitness routine that I enjoy and will continue.

Do you resemble me? You have tried everything, not just certain things?

It does not work out, though.

Prior to work, I started swimming.

Live Longer Why Dancing Is the Best Way to Stay Fit.

You must put on your job attire and change into and out of it. It takes eons for your hair to dry after getting wet. You drop your suit jacket on the muddy changing room floor if you are not lucky. You wear a jacket to work that has a filthy stain on it. In addition, you develop plantar warts and have a chlorine odor all day.

I went to a gym when I was really into the corporate world, but it was not very enjoyable. Even before the additional trip to get there, I was always exhausted. You can be forced to perform unnatural things by all those inexplicable gadgets. The changing rooms smell awful, no one talks to anyone other, and it is boring.

I started running. Even though there was still essentially no one to chat to, it was better. It was outside, at least, and the air was fresh. Even if you had to deal with the shower and changing clothes at work back then, I have occasionally run to work.

It was a little funny, but I got very fit after doing a few fun runs! After a minor mishap, I decided that running was no longer a smart plan. It is terrible for the knees and the back.

I have made it a point to continue walking ever since. Each day. However, taking the same walks over and over again is kind of dull. There is also the issue of pollution in the town. And when it is pouring, there is absolutely no joy.

It makes sense that people do not exercise more since modern life makes it too hard.

I am still not that fit, and every year I get a little less fit. establishing the same old resolutions for the new year.

The Science of Exercise and a Bit of Motivation

The Science of Exercise and a Bit of Motivation

I read an article about how scientists had figured out the best ways to stay active and live a long life. Yes, I do wish to live a long and happy life. Tell me where I can register! Dancing is the finest workout you can do to improve your health and length of life, according to scientific study. What—traditional, could I enjoy some ballroom dancing? (Well, these days, it is really popular.) How is it the newest and greatest workout trick?

When you were younger, did you go dancing? I did. The music was fantastic, and there were friends and laughs! It outperformed football, netball, hockey, or any other sport we were required to play at school. The scientists concur, too!

The benefits of dancing to your body, muscles, and brain are far greater. You must be organized, disciplined, and adaptable. You must have strong muscles and proper posture. You must regulate your breathing. Keeping your head, arms, and legs in sync with the music requires you to integrate a lot of different elements at once, which keeps your brain working. On the dance floor, you must be mindful of other people and politely steer clear of them. The steps must be committed to memory.

Your brain grows a larger hippocampus and more cells as a result of all that effort. It helps shield you from cognitive deterioration and memory loss.

It is excellent for maintaining your sense of balance; dancers live longer and avoid hospitalization because they do not trip and fall as they age.

It is social; you dance with other people most of the time. Additionally, if you would like, you can practice at home.

It prevents you from becoming depressed and improves your mood.

You make friends, you have more energy, you are happier, and you live longer.

There are several scientific reasons to start dancing.

But what were the scientists missing? They did not realize how much joy dancing is. They failed to realize how much you can enjoy doing this.

They failed to realize that there is a vast array of styles and that there is always something fresh to discover. There are too many varieties to mention, including line dancing, jazz, modern, ballet, ballroom, country, barn, folk, Morris, tap, salsa, Zumba, and Russian and Hungarian dance.

The link to the music was lost on them.

Johann Strauss’s waltzes from Vienna. 1930s musicals, as well as those from each subsequent decade. The Beatles’ rock music. Charlie Mingus’s jazz and Dave Brubeck’s Take Five are two examples. Songs by Joan Baez and Bob Dylan. Abba’s pop. Latin America. Bollywood.

Music from the 1960s is my favorite. What better dance song than “Satisfaction,” a classic by the Rolling Stones? The Stones are still performing for large audiences, you see. Despite their advanced age, they continue to dance and do not seem to be giving it up. It appears that they adore it.

The scientists also failed to discuss motivation. As I mentioned earlier, finding the drive to exercise is a major problem. For me and many others who are similar to me, it is a major problem.

Therefore, we must take action that we genuinely desire. We must figure out how to make working out so enjoyable that we would prefer do it than anything else.

Dancing might be the perfect workout for you if the music makes you happy. Dancing might be the answer to getting in shape again, even if it only makes your feet tap and gives you a slight itchy sensation.

Of then, what is to stop you from dancing if you already enjoy it?

My husband and I have made the decision to play one song every day and dance as hard as we can because winter is approaching (in the northern hemisphere). We want to enjoy ourselves, rekindle our passion for music from our youth, and get back into shape.

There is not a better method that comes to mind.

Using Your Heart for Motivation to Exercise

Using Your Heart for Motivation to Exercise

Our hearts will take care of us if we follow them. We will also be benefiting our minds. Both brains and hearts like dancing.

We will gain from exercise over time, and it will not be as difficult.

When we exercise properly, we will also be living our lives properly, which will lead to a long, fulfilling, and active existence.

I will see you on the dance floor, and go dance like the Stones. If I continue with the workout, I will be the one dancing down the many extra years I will have gained.
